You wanna do a Rocksmith Tent at Warped this summer?
Wound up chatting with my brand’s (RocksmithTokyo.com) Account Manager and he’s really sold on the idea that we should try to do a Rocksmith Tent on a few dates (or the whole tour) to promote the brand with the new young breed of people that love fitted caps, shirts, and anything related to hip hop (cannabis relations as well).
I was kind of thinking that this may be a good idea, but then again it may not.
We wouldn’t really be making much money, and plus the expense of tent, gas, van (unless I can broker a deal with one of the bands/artists on the tour), and time spent doesnt make sense.
But then again, I know certain artists already confirmed for the tour that are my friends that I would gladly mess with, I definitely can get any band or artist to do a signing at our tent, we would definitely be etched and starting something new (let’s face it, Warped Tour has no real hip hop/urban/pop act behind it these days).
I have a lot of time to decide if i really want to pitch the idea and make it all happen, but the real question is if it will be a good look for us or not.
I’m thinking if I can maybe convince other brands to jump on board and help cut costs to really invigorate Warped Tour again, it will all make sense and worthwhile.
Anyone got suggestions or can chime with their opinion.
@2 years agoSome of the dopest friends i have: Bad Rabbits. Their music video for “Neverland” its got puppets, and its a fresh sound. www.Badrabbits.com the EP is free online and they have Travie McCoy on it.
My bro and personal confidant Tyler Carter just dropped his video “Side to Side”.
Michael S. (Sanfilippo) - Like a Seed (unreleased)
!MAYDAY! Ft NORE - They Told Me (Remix)
Now this is what music is gonna be. Super slick, super fun, solid overall. These guys have mixtapes out, and do a bunch of tracks with Lil Wayne, Ace Hood, Justin Timberlake, and you can tell how they’re gonna get big. Much like Bad Rabbits. Dont sleep on this.
Young Love - Too Young To Fight It

im sorry. but i’ve worked as a consultant for Crush Management. Tour supported for Panic! At the Disco, FBR, Island/Def Jam, Universal/Republic, Atlantic, and god knows who else at Sony USA and Sony Japan.
I street teamed for Daphne Loves Derby, marketed for Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon, Rise Records.
Flew to different countries to consult on corporate marketing.
All of this before I turned 20. and these guys from Chicago, have talent.
I retired from the music industry, but goddamn I know talent.
I respect talent. I only recommend talent.
Check them out. Goodbye Coastline. Great Guys. Good Looking Guys. Even Better Music.
